Flying to take over your face!

I've been very busy, one way or another, but I'm back to posting art here again. To kick off, there's the three fake comic book covers I created for my new website (tomheggie.com / lifeonthesofa.com).

I'm currently working on a short comic chapter of Codeword Deadman (my own creation), mostly for the practice but really, I'm just drawing the coolest comic I can imagine and would want to read. The section I'm working on fits into the over-all narrative of the story but is pretty light on plot. Its an action scene and that's what its all about action, guns blazing, were-wolves shredding and Vellian unleashing hell.

nice one mate, youve done alright there! yeah i thought it was your sort of thing. well im pretty much doing bugger all, cant get a job anywhere, nobody wants people without studio experience. so im just carrying on my animation practice and doing lots of work on character design. and applying for anything remotley related to animation or illustration and not getting hired ha oh well, i think its going to be a long haul.

I'm surprised you haven't been head-hunted to be blunt. I'll definitely let you know if I hear of anything you might like. Have you considered getting yourself a gig with the Secret Wars people? Its not all spray paint, quite a few of the artists use markers and proper paint.
I think an kick-arse website is quite important too. I can hook you up with software or you could use my new site as a template (I'll email you a link when I've added the finishing touches). Alternatively, there's Wix.com where you can make a flash website in about half an hour.

ha i wish it was that easy, being head hunted would be amazing. who are the secret wars people? never heard of them. im a bit rubbish when it comes to web sites, ive got a free weebly one [link] but after looking at wix i think it looks far more professional and stylish. i might have to make a new one with them. cheers for the offer of software but i wouldnt have the first idea of how to use it. i look forward to seeing you new site. thanks for the favs too!
